Actually you're way off.
Basically what they doing is tracking you play and then using that data to advance a Faction that you've selected. It encourage you to play more, they've added faction specific challenges.
Its a pretty innovative take. Its basically giving their fans more value. Who can complain about that
Um. No. I've seen films and while Uncharted is really amazing looking, it's still clear to me which is which.
Having said that, I don't doubt that we'll get to graphics indistinguishable from real life in my life time.
But will people buy it?

No one said there aren't other games on mobile. I myself am enamored with Trials Fusion at the moment. But the majority of games are cookie cutter copies of established genres, runners included.
Mobile opens so many opportunities, but publishers are only concerned with generating profits instead of pushing creativity.

The problem with stories like these, is that inevitably too much attention is paid to the "gaming" aspect, as opposed the violence aspect.

I'm acctually quite hopeful for this movie. Ubi's own short film based on Assassin' Creed and Ghost Recon, were both pretty good. With top talent like this working on it what could go wrong?
